Start your day with a hearty breakfast in our aparthotel and then set off on a journey of discovery through nature. The region offers an extensive network of hiking trails that meander through breathtaking Alpine landscapes. From gentle strolls through flowering meadows to challenging mountain tours, the Wildschönau has something for every taste and fitness level. For the more adventurous among our guests, there are challenging mountain trails that lead to spectacular vantage points and provide a sporting challenge. For families, there are numerous easy hikes that are also suitable for children and lead to interesting natural sites and playgrounds.

If you want to take a more relaxed approach to your vacation and don’t want to hike from the valley, then use one of the four gondola lifts in the Wildschönau area. The Markbachjochbahn is even just a few minutes’ walk from our aparthotel and takes you to the Markbachjoch at 1500 meters, from where you can start your hike. Rosskopf (1731 m) and Feldalphorn (1923 m) are already within sight. An absolute advantage for your vacation in Tyrol: the gondola rides in the Wildschönau region are included in the Wildschönau Card.

The region has numerous tours to offer, the Breitegger Runde and the hikes “Oberau-Feldalphorn” and “Schönanger-Großer Beil” are particularly recommended:

Breitegger Tour: This tour, which has been awarded the Tyrolean Mountain Quality Seal, leads from the Schönangeralm to the Breiteggspitz and back to the starting point via the Siegeljoch.
