The Markbachjochbahn within walking distance
The Alpine Collection is the perfect starting point for your ski vacation. Already from the breakfast table you can see the nearby ski slope Markbachjoch. The nearest cable car for perfect access to the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau ski area is just a two-minute drive from the hotel. For variety in your winter vacation and on the slopes, the diverse offer of the surrounding ski resorts. For example, in just a few minutes drive you can reach the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental in Hopfgarten, one of the largest and most modern ski areas in Austria, as well as the ski area of Kitzbühel.
Ski bus in the Wildschönau
The Wildschönau ski bus takes skiers comfortably to the valley station of the Schatzbergbahn in Auffach, to the Markbachjochbahn in Niederau and to the Schiesshüttllift in Oberau.
The Alpine Collection Wildschönau is just 150 meters from the nearest bus stop and use of the ski bus is already included in the Wildschönau Card. With a journey time of 5-10 minutes between the villages, the buses run over 20 times a day as soon as the cable cars and lifts open.
You can also get to the Markbachjochbahn without the ski bus: just 100 meters from the house, there is a drag lift to the Markbachjoch, which leads directly to the piste and from there to the Markbachjoch gondola.
